PLANNER

Overview,

A mechanical planner oversees the smooth operation of a production line in a factory. Your responsibilities in this career include coordinating schedules for equipment maintenance and downtime. You often make recommendations on improving performance and allocating labour to meet deadlines and prepare plans.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Creating, maintaining and reviewing a programme of work.
• Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Liaising with surveyors, engineers and architects.
• Producing progress reports and forecasts for team members, clients and stakeholders.
